Our Belief
Thru Love Gospel Mission believes that every person is created in the image of God, designed for fellowship with God and entrusted with stewardship over His creation (Genesis 1:26–27; Psalm 8:4–6). But after man sinned, man fell from his original purpose of creation and entered in a state of spiritual separation from God (Genesis 3:1–24; Romans 5:12). This separation left mankind lost and unable to discover true meaning of living. (Isaiah 59:2; Ephesians 2:1–3).
Yet God, in His mercy and faithfulness, continually pursued man with the desire to reconcile him back to Himself (2 Peter 3:9). Throughout history, God spoke through the prophets and various means (Hebrews 1:1), and in the fullness of time, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world (John 3:16; Galatians 4:4–5). Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross, fully paying the penalty for man’s sin by breaking the power of separation that kept man from knowing God (Isaiah 53:5–6; Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24). Through His resurrection, Jesus conquered death and opened the way for all men to experience new life (1 Corinthians 15:3–4, 20–22; Romans 6:9).
Scripture teaches that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). But through Jesus Christ, who completely paid the price for sin, forgiveness, freedom, and reconciliation are made available to all men(Colossians 1:13–14, 20; Ephesians 1:7). Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith alone in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; Acts 4:12). By believing in the Gospel, a person is saved from eternal separation and restored to a living relationship with God, fulfilling the original purpose for which we were created (John 5:24; 2 Corinthians 5:17–18).
Thru Love Gospel Mission is committed to proclaiming this life-changing message of salvation and reconciliation to every person, in every place, until all have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15; Romans 10:13–15).
